Cultural Events
We take part in a number of cultural events in promoting Indonesia as well as hosting social events for our members. Through these activities we aim to promote Indonesia, its people and culture, as well as stengthening the fraternal ties among Indonesians at the University without being exclusive by all means. For a start, a significant proportion of Indonesian Society members (and exec) are not of Indonesian nationality (meaning: they may not have Indonesian passports but they are Indonesians at heart or they want to connect with Indonesians within Warwick). Indeed, our activities are open to all members and we encourage anyone to take part. |
One World Week
The One World Week has been recognised as the largest student-run international event and our society is committed to promoting the Indonesian culture through this event. In the past years, we took part in the Fashion Show, the Australasia Day and the World Music Concert. For more information on One World Week, visit: http://www.oneworldweek.net Food EventsIf you are Indonesian, or have visited Indonesia before, you would know that our lives revolve around food! We host many socials around Asian-based cuisine in the area and beyond.
